Odd question
This is a odd question. I am thinking of leaving my husband. But I am short of money and living alone is so expensive. All the ulitities,phone,groceries and such are high. So I was wondering if any of you knew of websites that offer finding room mates? I could afford to live with a room mate. Think it would be better then living with a man who loves his alcohol and will not admit he has a problem.

There are all kinds of sites like that on this side of the pond. I just did a google search using roomates, UK and roommates, UK and a ton of sites came up.

In San Francisco, Craigslist.org is an extremely active and most useful site for all kinds of needs... I've found great bargains, great friends, great jobs from this site. They also have apartments and etc listings...

Thanks for the replies. I am looking at several options. I was really wondering if there were any sites out there that offered women/men with alcoholic partners who are looking to get out of their relationships. Who want a roommate. There probably isn't such a site. Just a idea. Thanks.

good luck, with your roomate search, but in my case, I don't make a lot of money (esp, is I don't work overtime)... But it is still way cheaper for me to live on my own ~ xabf just ran up the utilities, food bill and was no help on the rent. I would probably have an easier time with a roomate, but for now have ruled out men and I like my place to myself, otherwise. I am fortunate that I found a nice apt for decent price.
