Shocked and refreshed......

I had a rough afternoon yesterday. Came home and all h*ll broke out. Right when I was on the verge of losing it, my H showed up.

He ended up taking over cooking dinner and helped me fold last weeks laundry and get this weeks started and in the wash......It was nice to have some reprieve.

The shocker, he actually asked me why I was frustrated instead of taking the defense and striking out at me. AND boy, when he asked if I had a rough day, it was like someone opened the flood gates. I could actually feel myself deflating as I was talking.

I am very greatful for the help I received yesterday.

Anyway, just wanted to share...........

Oh what a nice surprise,uh? To come home and get a unexpected gift. I bet you are still in shock. I would be! They would have to take me to hospital from the shock factor. Glad you shared this. Might show this to my husband.

And to think.........I was debating asking him to move back in partially to help me out.

But you know what, the actual benefit of unexpected help is so much more appreciated.

I would not have been as greatful had he been living there.....it would have been expected then.
