Hello, I'm new here

I'm the parent of a 16 year old recovering addict. This is all new to me, but I'm doing all I can to assist her with her recovery. As of this coming Sunday she'll be going to get her 30 day chip at her home NA meeting. This will be her second time with 45 days clean is her record.

Just taking things one day at a time..........

Hello and Welcome!!! Good for you and good for your daughter. It is amazing that she is willing to try to get clean at such a young age. Have you checked out the Friends and Family forum? There are a lot of folks who are going through the same thing you are.

Glad you are here!

Thanks for the welcome. This is all new to me, but I'm learning. I hope I may be of help to some other family going down this road someday. I look at life one day at a time now and am very thankful for the small victories each day holds.

My wife and I are very involved with our daughters recovery and we are finding recovery for our family as well.
