I was just reading a thread from someone who said "He/She did not even look or act drunk. I still cannot believe that when my daughter was drinking, you would not even know it.

We cannot know if they are drunk (I rather use the word wasted) or not. They can really hide it.

Is this true for some/most people?

I can tell by the smell. Even across a room.

And in the morning.. a sour odor often emanates from ones pores.

I showered 3 tines a day when I was drinking heavily...plus lots of perfume and breath mints.

That is all I know.

I have good nose too. I can smell booze on someone's breath even if they have had one beer or drink! LOL!
