A great story I heard about judgement
I heard a wonderful story about judgements this weekend:
A man is in the subway and he looks disheveled. He smells of liquor and has lipstick on his collar. He is staggering and a little clumsy. He sits down on a bench to read the paper while waiting for the train. He is reading for a little while and he notices there is a priest sitting next to him. He asks the priest, "Father, how do you get arthritis?" The priest replies, looking down his nose at the man, "from drinking too much, from being awful to your body, from fraternizing with loose woman and from keeping company with bad people." The man listens to this and then goes back to reading his paper. The priest feeling a little judgemental asks the man, "how long have you had arthritis?" The man replies, "oh, I don't have arthritis, but I was reading a story here that says the new pope has it."
