Prayers need for AlAnon Friend's husband

This is why I hate this disease..found out in the meeting last night that the husband of one of my AlAnon's friends (who was not in the meeting) is in the ICU..He was drunk and stepped in front of a car on a very busy street..Ironically being drunk probably saved his life..he is in surgery today - he has to have facial reconstruction (and he lost all his teeth)..

A week ago he was at a meeting and sober..today he is fighting for his life..

Anyway, any prayers for my friend D and her husband C would be appreciated.

It's just really sad..My friend has had a really tough time..she just asked him to move out of their home a few weeks ago..I like her husband as well..

D is amazingly strong though..thank god for Alanon!
