I'm off on my travels

Just wanted to let you know that I'll be gone for 10 days or so. I am going with my Dad, my brother and some friends to sail Dad's boat to its new home. It is the last link, apart from the business, with the area of England where I lived with my ex A, so it is a great healing opportunity for me. Pastures new, or should I say, waters new.

I will miss you guys and look forward to hearing what has been happening in your recovery whilst I've been away.

I will leave you with one thought - no-one can take away our right to be happy, but sometimes we all too easily give it up. I have re-claimed my right - have you?

Thanks everyone for their good wishes and kind words. Any wisdom I have has simply been passed to me from wiser people on SR and in al-anon.

FD - I do feel that it is symbolic and that feels fantastic.
