Life is beautiful
Just popping in to say hello to everyone.
On Saturday I moved into my new house - a wonderful converted cornmill over 3 floors with beams everywhere and 2 pet sheep and a horse in the front field and a donkey and a goat in the back one. It is 5 miles away from my home town where my family and friends live and 220 miles away from my ex A fiance. My family have been amazing and I truly grateful that my recovery has strengthened those bonds more than I can describe.
I have just been for a cut and highlights with THE most amazing hairdresser who has made me look fabulous for this new phase in my life. I had a shampoo and condition whilst sitting in an amazing massage chair. My hairdresser made the hairwasher take half an hour just so that I could get maximum benefit. These are the kind of people I want in my life now!
My ex is still texting and calling me and trying to "win" me back, this despite my finding out last week that he had been sleeping with (and lying to) 2 women he met on-line whilst apparantly being distraught about me breaking up with him.
Leaving him has been the best decision of my life. Apart from getting together with him in the first place. Otherwise how would I have learnt everything I need to know to be my best self and enjoy the kind of happiness that is now in my life? And how else would I have known such wonderful people as I have found on SR?

I am SO SO Happy for you! I too feel better after leaving mine and although I worry about him, isnt it nice to have you as your first priority for a change! Color and new highlights always make me feel wonderful! Bet the head massage was to die for! Good for you and being the best self you can be, and finding happiness!

OH Minnie,glad you have gotten moved. Love the sound of your new place. A new hair do. Family close by. 220 miles away from you ex. What could be better for you now? Party time for you. It is such good news.

Minnie- You go with your NEW self!! I am very happy for you and it truly sounds like you have peace in your life..You found it!!!!!!! I hope that one day I can say what you just said "Leaving him is the best decision of my life"......Good luck and God Bless you!

Thanks guys. Your support has been invaluable to me and my recovery.
I just wanted to let you know that it is possible to step out of the games and drama and have the life that YOU want, not that dictated by others.
I hope that I can bring lots of you along on this much more interesting journey.
