i just found out this morning that my boyfriend of 4 years has been smoking crack. thats what i was using for 2 years, he left me over my use, we got back together and things were great! and he came to me this moring and told me that for the past 6 months hed been smoking it everyday all day. i had no idea! ive been clean from it for 8 months. what the hell am i suppose to do or think? of course im here for him 100%, but he saw what it did to me, why would he go out and do it? im just beside myself right now

Hi Bean,

Wow, that is unbelievable. I am sure you're very confused. The most important thing here of course is your recovery. You didn't say if he wanted to quit doing it or not. If he does not want to stop you need to make some decisions about how to protect yourself from getting into a tempting situation. If he is willing to stop then all you can do is be supportive and show him how you have managed to get and stay clean so far. He's lucky that you have already been through it. yes, he says he wants to quit, when i was doing it i wasnt doing it all the time like him i could go a month without even thinking bout it. it really hurts cause he broke up with me when times got to rough for him, and of course im gonna be here for him, and i hope he understands now how much i needed him when he wasnt there for me. hes not having a good time being off it, i was fine when i quit. probably cause i wasnt using all the time, maybe once every 2 weeks, he was everyday. well, thankx alot!
