Hi,

I have been counting the days I have been sober, but I am not sure if I should count the days I was in rehab? I put myself there for 5 days and they gave me something for detox. I have been out of there for a week so have I been sober 7 days or 12 including my five days in rehab as well, b/c the meds were given to me by a Dr.

Let me know what you think.

I COUNT MY SOBRIETY DATE THE DAY AFTER MY LAST DRINK OR DRUG.
DR'S ORDERS ARE JUST THAT,ORDERS.

As ted said while you were under the docs care and not using i would call those day of sobriety.So way to go keep up the good work, it aint going to be easy.But with gods help or a higher power you can do it.I went into rehab for 21 days and i can tell you it was the best learning exper- i ever had......

yes i count my days, i spent 5 months in treatment!!but i wasn't putting my drug/drugs of choice into my system, they had me on codiene but ya docs orders so..keep up the good work and count away!!!!
