Just a Q. here?? Did your drinking or the lack there of have anythingf to do with it? Was he mad because you're trying to quit? Was he mad because you drink too much?
Your B/F leaving because you're trying to quit is not as bad as you might think. If, he left knowing you're trying to stop and not support you isn't as bad as you think either.
Don't let this stop you from doing the next right thing. Staying sober is more important then anything if, you can't control it. A lot of us have to lose everything we hold dear b 4 we finally say enough!!!!
Party Girl, I hope, if it's meant to be your B/F comes back to you. You can do this, you can get thru this and not drink if , you want. Just remember, you drink and it'll make you more depressed!!!!

It must hurt so very much, and I am don't pretend for a second that I have all the answers. But I do care. Hang in there and get the help you need. Do you have a group and/or sponsor you can phone/speak with? It really helps to have a direct connection like over the phone or a meeting in person.

Party girl AA taught me a new way of life. I'm content with who I am today. I no longer have the need to add anything to my body to make it feel good. Don't know if you read what i wrote bout the effects of alcohol but, it makes you depressed. You sober up you feel like crap you get drunk again to numb the emotions. The merry go round goes on for ever.
I hope, you'll give AA a shot. I put 100 % into this program. The people that stay in AA are rewarded by watching people gettheir lives together. Self seeking slips away. We care about you. You can't keep on doing the same thing over and get a different result.

you have to just try and have faith - i WILL all work out as it should...the universe is unfolding as it should....AA WILL help you I can guarantee that. In the interim - can you get to a doctor or inpatient as you suggest if you are feeling overwhelmed??? Please keep in touch
