"A Vision For Me"

I have to make this short because I need to get ready for a meeting but I had to share what happpened last night. First I stayed sober last night... I finally fell asleep around 3 something and the most wonderful thing happened to me. God blessed me with the most amazing dream I have ever had. I am sitting here in tears typing this! I've never been married and don't have any kids although I have the deepest desire to have children. Last night I dreamed that I had the most beautiful twins, boy and girl. I was holding them nurturing them in my arms. They were looking up at me with their sweet faces smiling and reaching out for my face. I can't fully describe the happiness and peace that I felt in my dream, there are no words for it! It was as if God gave me a glimpse into the future on things that could happen if I stay sober. I feel my hope and strength renewed like never before. Now when I want to drink I can remember those delicate, angelic faces believeing that if I stay sober my dreams could come true. With Love, susan

Wonderful post! Keep tapping the Power. I came to scoff, but have remained to pray. Often due to just such visions I've had myself. I hope you enjoy your meeting today and please continue sharing from the heart.

Susan, we don't know what God's plans are for us. i know, his plans are for us to be cloe to him. i also know, that drinking and the drugs took God away from me.

See what he has in store for you. Keep God in your heart , unburden it from you sorrows

I think that was a wonderful dream. I believe that everything is possible when you are sober. I've learned to trust in my Higher Power and my HP knowing what is best for me.

That does not mean that I sit back and wait for things to happen. I work to get what I need. But the things I want, like a family, are all possible now, but only if I remain sober.

One Day At A Time

God blessed me so much last night i believe he is testing my faith tonight. It is almost 7:30 here and I haven't got a bit of sleep. i am so tired but my eyes stay wide open as my mind races with thoughts. I took a hot bath, tried meditating, prayed, and it still hasn't let up. My disease has been tormenting me all night and this morning i should say. I haven't drank most importantly but goodness is this hard. All I have to do is get through another 24hrs.... I believe I can make it and hopefully I'll get to sleep through most of it. Lots of love, Susan
