I just read a post by "laurie6781" in response to "homersimpson" in the alcoholism forum.

Kind of puts things into perspective. I recommend every one read it ! ! !
Even though I have met many wonderful people in a short period of time.

I am not going to post again until I can go at least 1 night without vodka.
I feel SR deserves more respect that what I have given.

I'll lurk around though cuz this place is a miracle.

Next time I post ------ I'll be sober.

Chase, I know of a few people that have a rough time getting started, Me! You can't give up though... We say it's progress not perfection! You regnonizing the problem, coming on here and posting already is a major amount of progress. You hanging around here, quite possibly might be what you need for the inspiration, support, and encouragment to make the decision to put it down- for good. I have lots of love for you and would miss you terribly if you stopped posting or repling. YOu may be helping the "old-timers" by what you say. Chase, though I've only gotten to cyber know you for a few days, I have learned that you are an incredible human being. You deserve the best life possible, and I know you'll get it when you're ready. I hope its sooner rather than later :-).
