Poem
I haven’t posted in a long time a lot has happened but I still come here often to gain strength this place has helped me through some difficult times and for my final post I want to write a poem I received from my son
“ The Pain Never Goes Away
After All I Did Was I Insane ?
No More Excuses It’s Time To Take The
Blame
But Can I Handle It This Disease Is Worse
Than Cancer is
What Should I Do ?
Please Tell Me The Truth If You Know
What The Answer is
My Chest Wildly Convulses Occasionally
like today
I Don’t Know Is It Stress,Nerves,Anxiety or
Just Guilt But Slowly I Decay Unhappy With The Cards I Was Dealt , But I Know That I’m Here To Stay
Wish I Can Take It All Away All That I stole And All The Lies That I Told All The Pain That I Caused I Wish I Never Had
Through It All You Never Gave Up
Stood By Me Through All The Bad With a Glimmer of Hope I Would Change Just To Always Find Me Stay The Same
I Know That It’s Sad But Today I Can Happily Say That You Wouldn’t Find A Trace On My Veins Of My Past
And I Love you Mom and Dad “
Currently in Prison
Thank you for reading

Lonelystar, welcome back, I am glad you came and I remember you. My son too was missing for many years, and has been in and out (currently in) prison too. It breaks our hearts to see them stay on the bad path.
What has helped me over the years and still helps me today is to say a prayer each morning and turn the care of my son over to God. I then live my life well and embrace every day.
Your poem touched my heart. Thank you for sharing it.
Hugs from one mama's heart to another's.
