Was challenged a bit last weekend
Went to a friend of mines wedding (and reception). Its pretty much a given how it goes. Had to decline drink offers a few times. Had a plan to leave when things got a bit "lively" and made it through both enjoying myself without drinking and not getting too uncomfortable around it. It was a bit tough but my mind state was concrete and I knew what I needed to do when the time came. Still sober with support and the Lord's help. Just wanted to share. Thanks again for everyone here support me and everyone else.

Being in a situation where drinks are plentiful can be awkward and uncomfortable. It’s inspiring to hear you had a fun time alcohol free and had an exit strategy. It definitely gives me hope I can continue to do the same and get stronger.
