One whole month

Today is a whole month since I last had a drink, as I'm sure I've said before I suffer from arthritis in most joints in my body, now I feel every ache and grind my bones make, but I'm still sober before I would of been to drunk to feel this pain, but I'd rather be in this pain than the suffering I was in while being a drunk. Hope yous are all well x

Hey, we are all in the same boat. Maybe try CBD for your pain?

Well done Boggle, a great achievement.

Sorry you are in pain, but at least you don't have to suffer hangovers everyday anymore.

Keep up the good work!

Congratulations on your month of sobriety, Boggle. I found quite a few aches and pains, too, when I stopped drinking. You will be able to deal with all of that as you continue your recovery.

Congratulations on one month's sobriety! It's a good effort, and you're well over the worst (assuming no PAWS). Arthritis is an inflammatory condition, and I understand diet can help it, and even put it into remission. I'm about to make radical changes to my diet in the hope of ridding myself of psoriasis. Best of luck, and stay vigilant!

A whole month - that's fabulous, Boggle. I'm sorry for the arthritis pain - but you're saving yourself from so much misery.
We're proud of you!

Glad to hear how encouraging staying sober is despite the arthritis. The negative mental aspects of drinking were always the worst for me. Congratulations.

Hi velvetee - I know you're new but just so you know...we ask our members not to recommend things for others. That's medical advice under our rules.

CBD is especially problematic as its legal in some places, not in others...some have THC some not etc

Thanks
D

Impossible! No one can go a whole month without drinking! Haha, kidding. But didn't it feel like that when you first started your journey? Congratulations. What a great accomplishment.

Sorry, I didn't know. Gotcha. Of course, people have to check the ingredients and talk to their doctor...
