3 years!
Hi friends. Today marks 3 years sober for me. My life has improved hugely over the last 3 years and I encourage anyone struggling that it is possible, you too can break free from the misery. Best wishes, b.

Great stuff, bogler!!!!!
The positives keep on coming for those of us who have been fortunate enough to break free of the predictable nothingness and health problems of drinking,
I went for a late breakfast last weekend in a pub. It wasn’t even eleven and a few guys were on their 2nd or 3rd beer. They were miserable and complaining about life and the world in general. The rest of their day will have been wiped out by their breakfast beers. No wonder they’re miserable when they chose such a boring life. After my breakfast (which certainly was worth moaning about), I was all set, stuff to do, studies, gym, no rest for the wicked, etc.
Those few weeks/months of withdrawal are pretty unpleasant, but just holding out one day at a time really works in those early days. But after that, you become a different person who can do pretty much anything.
