I am here.
Welcome aboard! I stopped drinking 9 months ago and would not trade where I am now for anything. The key for me was staying connected to the way I felt on day 1. Coming here daily has been a huge part of that. Alcoholism will try to convince you that life is never going to be as good without booze...it's a lie. Sober time equals clarity so start stacking up those days.

My lawyer gave me my plan.
Go to 90 meetings in 90 days.
At that point i was 41 years old. I not only had a full time job but was in the middle of a project that the company was spending lots of money and resources on. I was seeing a new woman. I was active with my running and weight training. Just where was I finding time for this? He can't be serious i thought.
So I kept an open mind. I managed to average like 5 point something, almost 6 meetings a week. Amazing how much time frees up when you're not drinking.
I got a sponsor and worked the steps. Its not for everybody but it is A WAY. Its worked for millions.
