A neighbor of ours may had been struggling with
addiction for some time along with seizures. There
may have been some attempts at recovery and sobriety,
but sadly and ultimately she experienced a severe
seizure that last time and didnt make it.

She lived next door to us with her mom and family
on the other side. From time to time she had family
over to swim or bbq or celebrate birthdays.

The house was eventually remodeled and a new
family moved in a year ago.

We here in SR don't want to see you or any of our
members to be here today and gone tomorrow. We
care, understand and support you.

It is important to get into recovery and recieve
proper doctors care if needed being honest with
them so they can treat you accordingly to achieve
a healthy, happy life for years to come.

Hi, FF. I hope the doctors can figure out what's going on. I had a seizure once and once was enough!

You're still sober, though (congrats!), so you're giving your body and brain the best chance to heal.

Concentrate on yourself now and forget about college if you're not ready to do it all, it can wait.

I hope you are doing okay FF, hopefully the doctors can give you answers/help. Please, focus on your health and sobriety, college will still be there when you are ready. Thinking of you.

College will be there waiting for you when you get your basic health issues in order FF. I wouldn't worry about college at this point. It can be a highly stressful experience. Focus on getting better and look at college next fall if that is an option for you. Particularly if, as you report, you have had multiple seizures or "events" similar to this one that has landed you in the hospital. First things first my friend.

I agree with everyone else. You need some time to get your anxiety and any other health issues under control, and get some sober time under your belt before you worry about college. I know you have said your parents won't approve if you don't continue college right now, but is that really the case? I know if either of my kids was struggling like you are I wouldn't care one iota whether they were in college or not. I would want them to be taking care of the really important stuff first. College will be there later. Please take care of yourself! And keep those sober days coming! That will help you a lot, I know it will.

I hope you're okay and I'm glad you're still in the hospital.

I think you should not stress about college now. You have bigger issues to deal with including alcoholism and these seizures. Take some time to get yourself back to good health and then you can tackle college again.

I hope you will be honest with the medical team and be willing to do whatever it takes, freedomfries.

Take care of yourself. Prayers for a full recovery and a course of treatment that will give you peace.

Panic attacks where I become overwhelmed and have some sort of physical reaction like throwing up or having a siezure.theyre happening more often.

At least I'm sober.

I had a seizure once. Not good. Brain can't take onslaughts like that ongoingly. Good news you are sober.

You are getting the help you need and are now in a position to turn this around for good. Build on your 19 days.

Take care FF.
