Hope

I apologise if this has done the rounds before but I was just in a peer support meeting with a counselling organisation I have a key worker with (that probably makes no grammatical sense but not sure how else to term it).

One of the facilitators gave us this mnemonic for hope and I think it's marvellous.

Hold
On
Pain
Ends

Thanks!

(I think I'd add - Hold On to your sanity...")
Pain can make us a bit crazy.

I had that as my signature for a while, StartAnew. I absolutely love it - it's so true.

The grammar did make my brain short circuit. Not being mean, actually trying to be funny. But please, could you explain it better so my brain can recover??

Did not read any meanness at all and I did chuckle.
A local addiction service partners with another organisation part of whose service includes peer support meetings.
I have an allocated key worker (they also facilitate the meetings). All the key workers have walked the addiction path.
