Apple pie
Hi I’m sober a year next Friday. Tonight I had some homemade apple pie for desert. I found out it was made with alcohol and I ate a half pice before realizing I could taste it it. Did I break my sobriety?

Wouldn’t worry...even the booziest Apple pie (big enough to serve 8 people ) has about 230 ml of rum/whiskey in it.. and after a couple hours of cooking about 90% of alcohol cooked off..
assuming you only had Your fair share and didn’t gobble the lot down.. you would have more alcohol from eating a banana.

An accident is not a slip. If there was so little alcohol left after baking that you couldn't tell right away there was alcohol in it, I think you're good to go.
Many recovering alcoholics drink N/A beer or wine, or kombucha, most of which is not technically 100% free of alcohol.
Many recovering alcoholics also use wine or beer when cooking, with no disastrous consequences. It's a personal thing. Did it trigger YOU?

Relapse needs intent - and if you had no idea there was alcohol in the pie, your motives were clear IMO
Do apple pies take two hours to bake tho? Not as much burns off as people think -
