Thread title looks like I'm incredibly popular. Haha.

Messages have accrued over a long time, now have full mail box and need to clear. A couple of people have contacted me but can't reply until cleared.

You know I love y'all. I am sober hope everyone same. So much better. Friend called me last week she hadn't had a drink for 7 years. Decided to try the 2. Phoned me yesterday and she'd consumed 10, possibly more. Goes from bad to worse. Sounds selfish, but so glad it is not me.

Says shes learned her lesson. I really hope so.

I hope she's okay. It's unbelievable to me that a person with 7 years sober would go back out. Thank you for sharing because these kinds of posts are helpful to me...kind of like relapse prevention therapy.

I posted for that very reason Sober45. Lots of people here in early sobriety thought it might heIp. I went back out after 5 years and here I am again, but this time with absolute resolve. Acceptance. I know now that I cannot drink and much prefer sobriety. My mind is finding peace at last.
