Just past 30 months 3 days ago. Didn't even realize it until today. I stopped counting awhile ago. Every now and then I reflect back and add up the time in a general sort of way but...yeah... no counting really.

Still don't miss it a bit. I can genuinely say I don't really get many urges either... none at all really. When I do think about drinking all of the negative consequences from my past with it are quick to follow and I'm basically like...yeah, f that.

So yea. Life is good. Contemplating some big changes career wise in the future - though I've not settled on anything in particular. Doing a bit of work still on the soul. I have just less than a year before I'm off restricted license. At that point, being single with no kids and all, I'm thinking about taking like 4-6 months off, traveling across the country to cross off a few bucket list items... and then seeing kind of where I end up. Exciting, also some fear. Healthy I think.

Sounds like you've got some exciting times coming up. I believe you're right in saying the 'fear' of seeing where you end up if you do work onn your bucket list is healthy fear.

thats really awesome. 30 months is some time. Im at about 13 here and I know I sure dont miss it. Good job breaking the habit.

I’m 10 months behind. So many more things seem possible when alcohol isn’t getting in the way, don’t they? I’ve got a big big career change coming, nervous as hell, but even if that doesn’t work out, there’s other things I can do instead. You’ll have a great 6 months travelling, etc, with that positivity.

Buckley, I did what you said and had a GREAT TIME. It was one of the most memorable experiences for me. I took a road trip by myself and just went for 3 weeks. I highly reccommend.
