Oh no, so sorry to hear about your dog... It must be difficult to pick up the ashes today. Do you have a plan how to handle that?

Take it easy today, Mummyto2. I didn't get a wink of sleep last night. Tossing and turning with all the heat this summer. But here I am at work. Feeling slightly groggy but I am ready to face the day. That's what sobriety does for us. You're doing great!

Ugh, losing a beloved dog is a very hard thing to go thru..so, so sorry on top of everything else this is happening in your life.

I am thankful when my dog passed away I was sober because otherwise....I would not have been able to even get him to the vet...

Emotions are very tough in early sobriety for me days 1-5 are horribly emotional and then after that a veil sort of lifts and I go back to my regular base line depression...but days 1-5...I always feel like I don't deserve to be alive...and all the people I let down...and I'm really hard on myself....

I hope you are EASY on yourself today...maybe later do something special for yourself...I tend to buy myself presents when I am down. The other day I bought myself flowers.....anything BUT ALCOHOL for some relief from the sadness...

Hey there. I'm with you on day 3. All the best for the vets today. I won't drink with you today.

I'm so sorry your dog died. Picking up their ashes just proves that they're gone for good.

Good job on day three.
