I made it to 6 months!
I only just realised that today is 26 weeks since I last had a drop of alcohol (NYE).
I almost lost it this week but thanks to the wonderful people here for keeping me going.
Things haven't been easy, especially with a global pandemic and my mental health but I'm so proud of myself.
I know there are a few of us hitting this milestone today so congratulations to you all and long may we continue on this path.

Thank you, lovely people!
I had the urge to celebrate and was really hungry so momentarily had a fleeting craving.
After I put my son to bed, I went to the local Polish shop I used to buy beer from and bought cheese, good bread, salami, diet cokeccoke and a cake, then my husband and I stuffed our faces 😋
How times change!

That sounds really really really enjoyable. This is terrible advice, but as long as it’s not alcohol, anything’s allowed 👍

Well,o Monday I'm starting to tackle my sugar addiction (which has very much replaced alcohol) and am starting a 12 week health programme (which also works on sleep, exercise, mindfulness and wellbeing) so tonight was a real treat!
It was really nice actually 😊
