Last year I was beav 19...now beav 20.

I had over a year off and thought I was ok....yea right.

I'm off to rehab tomorrow. 10 day intensive.

I miss the real me.

Going in the 6 hours for detox. Just had a beer to stop the withdrawals as advised by the team.

I'm so ashamed I'm here again. Before covid I had lost 50lbs and was running 10k a day. THIS IS NOT ME.

I think thats normal.
I relapsed hundreds of times.
The last time, it stuck because I was prepared to go harder stronger and longer than ever before.

I accepted that I couldn't drink ever if I wanted change, ....and I accepted my life had to change.

That wasn't so bad because I was heartily sick of drinking me and my drinking life.

If I could do it, you can too Beav

Thanks all. I've not slept or eaten for days. I just need a few days in bed to get off this stuff. I KNOW how to be sober but bloody covid.

Thanks all for the lovely messages guys. Back home now all detox safely and had 10 days intense 1 to 1 and group therapy. Just had a nice bath and time for a herbal tea.

To say I am so eternally grateful to feel like this is an understatement.
