Day 4

Took forever to get to sleep last night. slept though, maybe 10 hours of what feels like the deepest sleep ever. Lots of vivid dreams.

Anyway day 4 😁

Wow that is great AI34. Sleep is so elusive for so many of us. That 10 hours is so healing and restorative. Good for you AI!!!

Fantom hangovers commonly happen well into sobriety. I'm 7 months sober tomorrow and at least one morning per week I'll wake up to hangover symptoms that go away pretty fast. It is pretty fascinating actually. Our nag-headed heads, right?

I agree. I have these as well, even though I am only at week 5. I find that drinking a lot of water and then (for me) some coffee helps clear up the brain fog, as well as a healthful breakfast.

Had to pop out for some shopping.

Was hard. Head was racing, sweating, almost anxiety feeling. Not nice

Hang in there AI. You are ok. If you were drinking or hung over everything unpleasant you are experiencing would be magnified, not better. None of us feel good all the time. That is universal. But as you build on sober time, you will be able to think those moments through so much easier.

I haven't slept 10 hours since I can remember. I have been totally clean for 5 years.

You may not be too far kindled yet and have a super human constitution.

Best thing i realized was booze is poison, it quells the masses, and the gov't makes money cradle to grave...hence why they don't stop it.

I love creating my own happiness and not relying on drugs for it. Best feeling ever.

Thanks.

Sleep and lots of water to drink - probably the two best weapons you have. And they're free.

it amazing how much outside and sunshine is helping me! Enjoying some pool time with the husband and kids and while the anxiety is still here and the shakes are going strong my heart rate is slowing and I’m feeling like I can breath deep for the first time this morning!
