10 days!!
10 days!!
I’m 10 days sober today. The naltrexone and gabapentin are amazing. I’m normally not a drug pusher but this is truly remarkable. I think of alcohol every day but there is no urge/cravings and my anxiety is very low. I love it.
I'm glad that's helping. When I first started my journey I was reading all that I could about things to make this as permanent as possible. I read somewhere that it was not a good idea to replace something you were trying to get away from with something else. It said that you just create another problem to have to deal with. Even sleeping aids. So I quit smoking, drinking and all drugs at the same time. It was tough but I figured that I was going to be messed up for a while and I might as well do it all at once so I didn't have to go through the crazy stuff more than once. I am so glad I did.Best wishes for you on your journey!
That is great secretchord!! Anything in those early days to stay off of the drink. 10 days is such an accomplishment. Hardest 10 days of my life but now looking back, 10 of the most important days of my life. Make these 10 days part of something permanent and you will have no regrets.
That's brilliant, well done!
I found a combination of meds have helped me immensely and gave me a fighting chance at coping after I stopped drinking all week. I am really glad you have found a combination that work for you!
