15 weeks sober
15 weeks ago today I was hungover and miserable as sin. So so low over SUCH a long period.
If you're just in the process of giving up - first few days or weeks - or you are thinking of giving up - I seriously recommend you do it and stick to it. My life hasn't improved externally, I've still got the crap to deal with I caused by years of addictive drinking. But I am learning I can cope with life as it happens, and most days I feel alright. Not up, not down, but I'm alright.
And that's only 15 weeks! I started noticing huge differences by week six...I know that may seem ages if you are on day one but it goes very quickly.
Hang in there and commit to it daily
