This is one of the best articles I've read about the origins of codependency and how it shapes our lives and children's lives. The author speaks from personal experience and whatshe says is what happened to me. She has a great website too.

mylifeismine, thank you for sharing this website. I agree that is it a really good introduction to Co-dependency. Very clear and understandable.
I hope you don't mind if I recommend this article to others--especially the newbies as they come to this site?I almost always suggest that newbies learn all they can about alcoholism and co-dependency. I am frequently saying that "Knowledge is power"
