4 months

I have 4 full sober months today. I haven’t had this much time in years!

the drinking dreams still come and go. I think it’s my mind and body slowly letting go.

I still get the odd craving but it’s much much easier now to say no.

I find that I have almost completely stopped thinking about drinking. Which is incredible and the only way to really live life. I finally have the mind space to focus on other things without the constant nagging for the next drink, and without the knots of anxiety.

I wish my SR friends a happy, safe and sober May 2020!

thanks

Congratulations CK, great stuff

I think you should change your user name to signify the change in your life. 'Superman11' has a nice ring to it...

Nice job getting to 4 months! I like what you said about having more mind space. I've not thought about it like that before, but it is so true. I spent so much time thinking about what, when, how much to drink, do I have enough?, will anybody notice?. Now, I have so much time to think about other things.

Just made 4 months myself Clark. We're onto a good thing. Let's keep it rolling.
