New, looking for sponser
Hi everyone,
I am new to this forum. I have gotten on a few e-lists that were not what I was hoping for. This is ACA..RIGHT?? Okay. A brief intro. I am a gay male in San Diego area. I have been sober for 4 years, but have been in AA since '86. Not a great track record. Anyway, I just got out of the Meadows and am looking for a sponser. I am am really over with AA. I am not interested in doing the steps regarding my drinking.Tired of my sponser looking at me crazy when I mention learning to reparent myself or take care of my inner child. Really sick of trying to share that info with a group of folks who tell me just keep coming back. Well the drinking was a symptom of much deeper problem. And I want to deal with that problem. I want recovery from all of the abuse, pain and PTSD that I have now due to growing up in an alcoholic home. I tell the you the more I write the angrier I am getting. So anyway, here I am trying to make a stab at my recovery on-line. Thanks for listening.
