Yep, buckle up that seatbelt because recovery really is a rollercoaster ride lol. It does smooth out but there will always be some highs and lows and some loop de loops lol. But stick with it no matter what because it is so worth it. When you are having a bad time remember it WILL pass and when you are having a good time then make sure you enjoy it because that will pass too !
Getting sober and staying sober has been the hardest and yet the most rewarding thing I have ever done for myself. Stay close and don't pick up that first drink no matter what!!

Day 5
Day 5 the first few days that would push myself ridiculously hard to do physical activities cut the grass clean the house anything to keep my mind occupied but that end of an exhausting and push me mentally exhausted and physically realize rest prayer drinking plenty of fluids and forcing myself to eat was one of the best decisions that I made after that. Believe me it's been crazy my skin was crawling I thought I had bugs in the house anxiety through the roof overreacting to every situation my poor wife she doesn't understand addiction but now she's starting to see a different me and constantly being positive now and liking who I'm becoming saying the rosary every night really helps and prayer
I did have several anxiety attacks in early sobriety but they got less intense and more infrequent as time passed.
Just keep eating well, lots of water, plenty of sleep and maybe light exercise.
Box breathing is really good for calming during an attack
Google this and you can even find graphics to follow as you breathe.
You’re doing great. Hang in there and post often if it helps.

You are doing well. Treat yourself as being sick. Even at 5 days. Besides the activity remember to rest, eat nutritious food, seek medical help if needed, keep hydrated, post here often....by you helping yourself is helping others...we are no longer in isolation!

Day 5or so
Well last night was probably one of the worst episodes anxiety in Doom took a couple hours to finally relax body feeling very uncomfortable have bouts of itching which makes anxiety worse but I'm trying to understand this just the healing process and it too shall go away. This is a decision I made for myself to never go back but it is like a weight on my shoulders a hard time for me because of everything going on has anybody else had the skin-crawling itchiness today has gotten a lot better doing my best not to focus on it
