Checking in
Hi all Kevin checking in from NY still sober doing zoom meetings. Lots of covid case on the Long Island . Wife works at a hospital she comes home tired and depressed. I have to talk her down and keep her head. What a change. Be strong all, I know it’s tough without face to face meetings, outpatient etc. this too shall pass
That's great that you are doing Zoom meetings and you are there to support your wife - people working in healthcare during this time are incredible.
Good for you......and I am holding on to that 'this too shall pass'

Good luck down there on the Island, Kdon. I grew up there (Exit 41)*.
I'm up in Boston nowadays (and basically have been for the past 45 years this month lol). I don't get back too much these days as only a couple of cousins still live there. I still get into the city and over to suburban Jersey though, where a couple of sisters and my niece live, so I'm forever a greater-New Yorker in many ways.
You ever get down to Jones Beach or one of the other seaside areas, South Shore or North? I would think they would be good places to get some bracing fresh air and easily maintain social distancing. I practically grew up at the beach back in the day, and in more recent years used to take my dear (now departed) Dad for strolls on the boardwalk at Jones Beach, year round.
Sounds like you are doing well under the circumstances, Kevin, being there for your wife and yourself. Hang in there.
