Ready. Set. GO GO GO!!!

So I just tapered for five days with no symptoms of withdrawal other than some trouble sleeping the first night and some anxiety around "how will my life now be" and at night my mind now has time to wander.

I'm calling my doctor ASAP or the Rapid Access Clinic to let them know the above.

I just poured out an entire 26 oz bottle that I DID NOT NEED to taper!!!

I also destroyed my mix of choice and the go-to bag of ice!

So, here I am SR, starting out again! I'm doing this for my kids, for my wife, for my career and maybe most importantly for myself. I want to be a healthier and happier human being.

Yes! Good choice and I'm glad you're doing this for yourself, too. I hope you continue to feel good.

Turn the page and start a new chapter.

Those were my drinking days. Those days are over.

That is how it works for me. Suffering through the crave at first was insanity.

I had to relearn how to live. SR coached me the whole way.

My sleeping is one of the best things to come out of this new and forever path.

Thanks.

Sounds like your taper went much better than expected if you didn't even need all the booze you got! Keep up the positivity... you got this!!!
