I was was/am heavily kindled from decades of unknowingly off and on binge drinking relapses.
I'd go 3 or 4 days clean then drink 3 or 4 days straight. Sometimes 3 weeks clean, then 4 months every day.
I think that fried my brain extra crispy more quickly.
I never had brain fog to speak of, I always was able to problem solve better than most. My issue was mini to major panic attacks. I didn't know what they were until they got hellish.
That is when I quit for good.
At 80 days, like you now, the attacks were still hellish. It took the better part of 3 years sober to see them diminish to nearly none now.
Now rarely do I feel the rush of adrenaline like I routinely experienced during my attacks before.
They were exhausting.
I would have never been able to quit if not for sr. Getting through 3 years of hell on earth med free was only possible because sr showed me the way.
