4 months - 121 days - almost half a year.
I'm coming up on half a year in 2 months or so.
1/3rd a year
Just two more and I'm at a year to as well.
No one told me to quit or anything like that. Just made the decision that it wasn't for me and liquor had to go from my life. I was getting bad at times where I might drink 8-10 (up to 12) beers in a night and not a six pack anymore if not just the 2 beer limit or whatever is specified nowadays for one day.
I do feel slightly better, but I know my results will be more minimal. I still do notice them and I feel better and do get slightly better sleep and such.
coronavirus is in the news globally right now. Surprised alcohol isn't treated the same way or like that alone especially since it's a poison that's killed millions since the 1950s or so alone.
Glad I'm not poisoning (in the realm of chemical warfare to me personally) my body with alcohol anymore.

I was not able to just quit anymore.
My addiction was too deep.
I was potentially 1 drink away from a stroke or mental breakdown.
With that and through education and the family vibe SR provided, i made it this far.
I know I am never going back.
I am a different person. I am a non drinker. I hate the stuff.
Thanks.
