Hi Janie glad you are here! We all have dark days. How we deal with them is what matters. I find talking to my sponsor and doing step work helps. Reading from the big book helps as well. Keep coming back. It works if you work it.

I don’t have anyone here that would understand and get it. Most of the time I’m fine but some days just hit me, I’m not the sort of person that likes to put on people, I can say to close family I’m having a bad day and they are supportive but they don’t truly know how strong the battle can be some times. Im normally a positive person but this has been a crap week and as I’m typing I feel like my fingers are not going to stop.

Is alcohol your problem?

If so, call your AA district office. They will send someone to talk to you. You can also dm me if you want. I've been where you are.

Unfortunately I don’t have a sponsor but thank you for your kind words.

We're here if you need to talk. Say anything you want. We have all been there one way or another.

Walking is a fantastic idea!
