Day 1 is a good day Makeright. You are on your sober road now here in 2020. New decade and new opportunities. We don't drink anymore. Post as much as you can and let us know how you are feeling.

Makeright, welcome! Keep checking in, join one of the daily thread posts or monthly newcomers. I find that checking in a few times, but more importantly commenting really helped me. Even if it's a quick note or hitting that thanks button. Makes me feel like a participant instead of an observer. You got this!

Glad to have you with us, makeright. Congrats on your Day 1. It's rough in the beginning, but things ease up. Being here should help - we all understand how you're feeling.

You just have to keep trying until it sticks. If you slip one day it doesn't give you a reason to continue the next day or the next hour.

OK. Another day one. It is such a difficult opponent. This time is more serious, I have started to see the way it gets worse the longer you do it. I would hate to see just how bad.

It gets worse and worse Makeright. You can do this. What causes to you pick up drinking again? Do you have a plan to stay sober? What are your triggers? I hope today is your last Day 1.

Makeright, as was already asked what made you relapse this time? I have relapsed this year a few times and am going into a really strong quit because I am being mindfull of what causes it but most importantly I am prioritizing my sobriety and checking in here everyday to reaffirm it.

Great to see you back. There's nothing in it for us anymore & never can be. Time to live life with eyes wide open, not in a fog.

Welcome back makeitright

Taking it more seriously is a good move - what does that mean for you in terms of action though?

This is the link to the Class of June support thread - all you need to do to join is post in it
