75th day and dry January in the U.K. - wanted to quit for a month

I wanted to quit for a month or so myself. The U.K. has the dry January or dry month plus people quit stuff for new years as well.

In November time frame of 2019 I just decided to quit alcohol rather than quit for only a month or so. I don't need it in the long run. See it just bringing me down a bad path at some point.

I am now at 2.5 months (75th day).

Was tired and/or bored of alcohol anyways and only saw in the long run that it could bring me down completely. Just recently turned 31 to as well and figure I don't need it in my 30s, 40s, and 50s. Just decided to quit.

Don't want it dragging me down in the long run (I had minor issues at times and alcohol just wouldn't of worked out for me is what I figured myself in the long run). Just had to go.

Glad I made it this far and quit when I did.

Congrats on 75 days!

I am 50 and can tell you from experience, if you never touch another drop of alcohol you aint missing nothing.

If you do you may miss a whole lot.

That's what I keep telling myself mostly is that I'm not really missing anything except empty calories and having less money.

I'd rather have my money and not have the empty calories.
