So im on day 5 and super determined not to drink ever !!! As id said in other posts I'd left my job last weekend during a binge/bipolar episode, as i just felt stress was too much and i needed something to change and wanted to focus on my recovery.

Today my boss rang me and asked me to stay but under a different role (less stressful) and part time, just 10-2 so i could do the school runs.

They are going to ring me back tomorrow but i think i will accept as then i can have little bit of work but with the extra time to focus on my recovery

That sounds like a great solution Tink. I think having the routine of working can be helpful during your recovery, it may also allow you to add hours once you get some sobriety under your belt.
