The days keep adding up. I've been pretty lucky since I decided I had a problem pretty early in my hard drinking career. I haven't had a single craving for booze since quitting. I do think about weed now and then and it makes me a little sad. Then I tell myself about the occasional weed induced panic attack and I'm glad I quit. It should be mostly out of my system by now so my tolerance would likely be extremely low. That's a recipe for disaster in my experience.

That's pretty impressive since, I think statistically, most people relapse before they make it to a month.

I think really embracing AA and setting aside any pre-conceived notions has really helped. Also getting a sponsor and starting to put in work has really made me see how the drinking was getting completely out of control.

Yes cantsleep, you are SO wise to have figured this out so much earlier in your life than many of us.

For what its worth I craved weed a lot longer than I craved alcohol,CS

I'm very glad I didn't give in tho - I no longer crave either
