Starting over...

I have been struggling with alcohol for quite some time now. I posted here years ago, but never followed through. Made excuses for myself, went back to drinking and here I am. Again. I’m just putting this out there because I need the accountability. I know I cannot drink unless I’m prepared to lose everything I hold dear, which is absolutely not an option. Back on day 1. Plan on hitting some AA meetings this week. To anyone else struggling, I urge you to reach out. Much love to all.

Much love to you too Studebaker10.

Same happened to me....didn't follow through, and now I'm back.

28 days today, and feel so much better.

You will not regret your decision I promise.

You can do this! Alcohol is NOT worth losing everything, or anything, for. You can plan for how to move forward alcohol free, but I'm not sure it's even possible to plan for losing what alcohol can take away - health, relationships, jobs, homes. You are absolutely in the right frame of mind to make a change. May 2020 be your year!

Let's get you cleaned up and dusted off Studebaker. 2020 is a good year to be sober and the 20's a good decade to be such. I am living in Day 53 here after drinking hard for 3 decades. Let's do this together.
