My Day 2

Hi everyone,

I am on Day 2 at the moment and this evening is a struggle. I had huge cravings on my way home from work. I'm ratty and irritable with my partner too. I've made sure I've eaten and got my cup of tea, now I've just shut myself in the computer room. it's tough. It's only 6pm but I want this evening to be over already

What were your hangovers like? Some are worse than others of course. Mine were whole body hangovers that wouldn't fully go away until I drank again. Let's not do that again o.k.? How far are you away from the sea? Get some gear on and get down there!!! Hang in there Albee.

My hangovers were depressive, shame filled and hideous, thank you for reminding me to think about that Surrendered19.
I'm not too far from the sea to have a walk, dog needs to go out too. I'll be out the door in a few minutes.

Hope you were able to leave the cravings at the beach. Full moon on the water. Perfect.

I totally understand, Albee! I would be very snippy and short with my partner too which, of course would add to my guilt. I am here to tell you it gets so much better. Your brain will begin to balance itself again and a sense of well being will take the place of the cravings. Just give it time and post often.

Keep posting albee- great you are doing this. Also stuff like walking the dog is good- nature, distraction, exercise...

Let me add my congratulations for getting through day 2. I'm jealous you got to see the sea. I hope to see a day 3 post tomorrow.
