Day 100, triple figures!
Made it to triple figures!
Xmas was a little harder than I thought it would be, there was wine in the house for guests but I was ok, I'd not had any alcohol in the cupboards since September. Kept the mindset it wasn't for me and I would rarely drink during the day anyway with people here. Ate my body weight on roast potatoes.
I've come down with the a horrid cold yesterday so feeling a bit urgh but hopefully will shift it quickly.

Thanks, reckon I'll feel better in a day or two. Been feeling a lot healthier since stopped drinking so with any luck I can shake off colds quicker. Been on the sofa all day with a pile of tissues from blowing my nose. I'm a right miserable patient so the family are avoiding eye contact with me in case I whinge lol.
There is nothing wrong with a little self pity when unwell- you can explain it with fancy sociological theories that explain with illness- we can regress to an immature level of emotional maturity.
