Hello!

I am new here today. I am just into my tenth day of alcohol withdrawal. I wanted to introduce myself, I am Jackson. I am thankful to be free of alcohol. I am still itching, but Benedryl has relieved it some and helps me sleep.

Congrats on day 10! that is wonderful I hope you are physically feeling better. Please post and keep us updated on your progress. I am on day 45 and the support has been instrumental.

Congrats on 10 days! I can't remember the last time I went 10 days without at least some alcohol. Big accomplishment!

Day 20 here Jackson. Nice job on double digits. Hope you can see a doc soon about any ongoing symptoms if for no other reason that to confirm they are related to detoxing from booze. It might be something else that can be easily tweaked and alleviate your discomfort. Glad to have you here. RS is an amazing place.

Hey there Jackson!

You came to the right place, when I decided to let go of alcohol I had already been logging on here and getting support. I now log on every night as my evening ritual and it has definitely helped to keep me sober. This has become my family and will become yours too!

Glad you are feeling better, keep at it and know that the feeling right now is temporary, it WILL pass. But do not forget it, because you never have to feel this away again.
