24 Hours Goal acheived
Have made it through 24 hours. Did not go to work today and thankfully did not attend the Christmas party.
Have had had to clean my bathroom after all the vomitting. Have been drinking a lot of water.
Head not completely clear. It takes 72 hours for all the alcohol to get out of my body.
I now want to be sober more than I want to drink. I am desperate to finally call an end to this relapse!

That's the way I felt at the end of my drinking career. Thoroughly disgusted and done with it. I never did pick up again - I was convinced (finally) that it could never be worth it & there'd never be any control.
Congrats on getting through 24 hrs. - this is the beginning of a new and better life, Stable.

Sounds like you are throwing in the towel. Good deal. Stick around here. Join us on this journey. For now all you have to worry about is not drinking today. Stay hydrated. Water.tea. if you can eat do so. Or some broth of some sort. With a few crackers. Rest if possible. Gonna be a little bumpy at first. Ride it out. Heck say a little prayer. Then you in motion for recovery. ✌
