31 days cravings

It's been a busy week all round.
had some thoughts earlier about drinking. It is Friday I guess.
It's been a while since I felt this way. Caught myself trying to justify why I deserve it.
A shower and some food then I need to get on top of these thoughts

Cravings can strike without warning and can be quite disconcerting, especially in early sobriety. But you can deal with them! Have you looked at urge surfing?

A quick trip to the shops, got some snacks and an array of healthy drinks. Going to nest up on my lounge and get some much needed rest and relaxation.

I would try and think about why I deserved not to.

^ What tofit says. Nothing deflates a craving more than the ice cold truth that comes from mentally replaying drinking binges of the past.

At 31 days, you are not out of the early recovery cravings. All you have is a good start. Friday night might be one of your triggers to remind you that it's time to drink, but cravings come anytime unannounced. Don't be alarmed by this.
