Update on Recovery
Hi Everyone,
It has been awhile since I have posted, and so I wanted to give an update on where I am at. I am currently on Day 5 with my only daily drug being caffeine by having one Rock Star which helps to get me going and do my daily workout. I am currently in both AA and NA. I have a sponsor in AA that I will meet with weekly to work on the steps. I am trying to do 90 meetings in 90 days. Wish me luck!

Even though I am happy to be at 5 days, I feel more optimistic because I have a plan (working the steps with my sponsor each week and attending a meeting each day.). I am also reaching out to other women to have more support to call and meet with. I also plan on reading and posting here.

I always feel inspired after a meeting.

Love this! And I too committed to AA and I think I did about 82/90....one thing I heard early on that proved valuable (among many things!) is "go when you want to go, go when you don't, just go." Continues to be a good rule of thumb for meetings for me

Thank you all. I really hope it sticks this time. In the past it seems I talk a good talk but don’t walk a good walk. I need to stay committed to my plan and not pick up to put actions behind my words.
