No, it is an anti-inflammatory. It is not mood-altering to any meaningful extent. It is also dangerous to exceed stated dose but I am sure you know that anyway.

Clarify that please. If you consumed 14 at once, you probably should be seeking medical attention.

No not at once. It's 1:00 am where I am so no medical attention available. I feel fine.

If you are concerned, you can always go to an ER.

Yes, I relapsed on booze a few months ago and am experiencing the old clucking syndrome thing that people talk about.

Hi

its not possible to get high from ibuprofen.

Taking over the recommend does can be dangerous though - some people have experienced stomach bleeding, kidney damage liver damage etc.

I'm not saying this will happen to you but I think It's best to be safe than sorry.

please see your doctor or local ER as soon as you can, then come back here.

You are in desperate need of a new plan, my friend - this one stinks

In Ireland, lol? They charge you when you turn up, and I don't have the cash for that.

I'm not remotely concerned, if it's possible to o/d on ibuprofen and booze then maybe it's my time to die.

I'm not experiencing any effects from the ibuprofen so far, which is strange.

I'd rather be poor than on dialysis, dealing with ulcers or liver disease - but noone can make you do anything you don't want to do....so I hope things turn out.

I wouldn't take any more ibuprofen. You'd be dead long before you get any kind of buzz.

We're here if you want to discuss a new recovery plan anytime.

Nope If there's a jest here, I'm not the one making the jest.

If you start to get any of these symptoms I'd reconsider.

Hope you put the booze down.

best wishes,

Nothing works out for me. Life used to be ok but these days everything I try turns to dust. Even when I had my 10 months off booze, I preferred life when I was boozing. I went to AA meetings, I listened to all the people sharing about how the promises worked out for them, I tried to do what they did and nothing worked.

But thanks for telling me about ibuprofen, clearly that is a useless drug.

I hope you decide to quit again. I think to change our life for the better most of us find we have to stop drinking but we also need to make other changes as well.

Just not drinking made me miserable and desperate for a buzz. Booze and me made for some pretty poor decisions.

There's a third way - building a sober life you love.

Lot of work but worth it.

only useless if you think you can get high off an anti-inflammatory medication. curious what you thought you were going to achieve by overdosing on an over the counter pain reliever?

i hope you give sobriety another go - with enthusiasm and fervor to begin to live a GOOD life. those people you "watched" in meetings weren't faking it.....

You were at the 300 meetings I went to and shared at?

Not a single one of those people contacted me when I stopped going.

Here's a helpful hint Anvil, don't ever, ever, ever suggest that you can see into my life.

I tried to do my best as a good AA member and in return was bullied.

So, frankly, cool it with the patronising b.s..
